AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION (AAI) COURSE

Advanced Professional Course.

AIM :

To provide working knowledge on Aircraft Accident Investigation.

OBJECTIVES :

To train med-level officers on the techniques and procedures of investigation an aircraft accident and preparing them to perform the duties as a president or member of a ‘Board of Inquiry (BOI)’ to investigate an aircraft accident.

  • AFO 62 Series.
  • ICAO Annex-13.
  • Material Factors (MF).
  • Aviation Psychology (Avn Psy).
  • Aviation Physiology (Avn Phy).
  • Safety Management (SM).
  • Aircraft Accident Investigation (AAI).
  • Aircraft Engine Accident Investigation (AEAI).
  • Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH).

LOCATION :

Flight Safety Institute, BAF Base Bashar, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka.

COURSE DETAILS :

DURATION 3.5 weeks (17 working days).
FREQUENCY 1 course in a year
ENTRY STANDARD Officers of GD(P) and Engineering Branch having at least 8 years of commissioned service and Flight Safety Officers’ (FSO) course qualified.
